Inspired
by the 100-metre deep quarry located in the west portion of the
site, the theme of this unique shopping center and indoor theme
park in Shanghai is the celebration of the earth's oldest material
- the stone. While exterior of the complex is designed using contemporary
materials steel and glass, the interior is completely developed
in stone, using ancient building techniques. |
