The Qujiang New Area is a massive urban complex on 15.88 km2 located in the prestigious part of the Downtown City of Xian, known as the first ancient capital of China and home to the Terracotta Army. Supported by Xian’s government, the project is envisioned as a world-class cultural and entertainment 5A tourist destination appealing to all ages, nationalities and interests. The themes of interconnections between history and future of Xian, symbolically connect all project components into one coherent destination.

Some of the diverse contents within Qujiang New Area include: a multimedia visitor center at the ancient Old Goose Pagoda, Great Tang All Day Mall Lifestyle street, the Xi’an Wheel Tower - the world’s first combination observation tower and Ferris Wheel, a Science Discovery center, a videogame pavilion, the Qujiang Media Center and Arena, and a unique custom theme park “Silk Road Experience”.

Special attention was paid to extensive use of green technologies throughout the project and promotion of Shaanxi province as environmentally friendly, ecologically aware region of China.
